Auditions for the 2012-2013 season are (tentatively) on Friday, May 11 in the PHSC band room! Don't forget to fill out the form under "Important Dates"!!! There will be 3 parts to the audition. You will need to play scales, an excerpt, and an optional improvisation. For the rhythm section, there will be no scales, but be prepared to sight read a selection. As a reference for the improvisation, here is a sheet with your blues scales on it, a sheet with improv tips and tricks, and the track we will be using for your improvisational audition: |
